The year 2014 saw some challenges take a well-deserved respite with the introduction of MIP Cancun, a good MIPCOM, a rewarding AFM, and a promising ATF. 2015 could best be described by the fact that Turkey’s productions became the 900-pound gorilla in international TV arenas, presenting an overwhelming challenge to sales of LATAM telenovelas.
