Amazon Prime Video has licensed a documentary about the former and future first lady Melania Trump.

Filming of the doc began last month and the feature is expected to be released in mid-2025 both theatrically and on the streaming platform. The film is directed by Rat Pack Entertainment’s Brett Ratner, and executive produced by Argentina’s Fernando Sulichin and Melania Trump.

Jeff Bezos, founder and executive chairman of Amazon, donated $1 million to president-elect Donald Trump’s inaugural fund. Bezos’ Washington Post newspaper didn’t endorse a presidential candidate, but recently censored a cartoon by Pulitzer Prize-winner editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes depicting Bezos and other billionaires genuflecting in front of a statue of Donald Trump.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the documentary “might raise eyebrows about the perception that [Bezos] is cozying up to the incoming administration.”
