The Toronto International Film Festival revealed the 60 official selections for the Gala and Special Presentations programming tracks.
The initial round of announced projects includes 37 world premieres, seven international premieres, 12 North American premieres, and 4 premieres, representing 70 countries from around the world.
The Gala Presentations track features the North American premiere of Um Tae-Hwa’s Concrete Utopia, the world premiere of Craig Gillespie’s Dumb Money, the Canadian Premiere of John Carney’s Flora and Son, and the world premiere of Leigh Brooks’ Hate to Love: Nickelback, among other titles.
The Special Presentations track showcases Éric Toledano and Olivier Nakache’s A Difficult Year, Hur Jin-ho’s A Normal Family, Chloé Robichaud’s Days of Happiness, Daniela Goggi’s El Rapto, and Richard Linklater’s Hitman, among others.
