The Philippines’ ABS-CBN signed a new content deal with Warner Bros. Discovery to bring some of its lifestyle content to more audiences in Central and Southeast Asia via Discovery Asia and the Asian Food Network.
Among the shows to be featured on Discovery Asia is Beached, a travel show touring the most scenic beaches and island resorts in the Philippines and around the world, with its first season premiering on October 27.
Scrumptious global eats are explored in The Crawl, winner of the Best Lifestyle Program at the 2022 Asian Academy Awards; and Filipino chef Sandy Daza hosts Foodprints, featuring gastronomic adventures in search of the best in Filipino and worldwide cuisine. Both shows will premiere on the Asian Food Network.
These programs are originally produced by Metro Channel, the cable TV counterpart of lifestyle brand Metro, under ABS-CBN’s content subsidiary Creative Programs Inc. (CPI).
Audiences in the Philippines will also be able to enjoy these titles on streaming platform discovery+.
