The Ruderman Family Foundation has selected the actress Marlee Matlin for the Morton E. Ruderman Award in Inclusion, celebrating Matlin’s lifelong activism for people with disabilities. Matlin will receive the annual award of $100,000. Matlin is best known for her Oscar-winning performance in the movie Children of a Lesser God, and she remains the only deaf actor to win the award.
