Nickelodeon and Italy’s Rainbow have announced the launch of Regal Academy, a series that brings classic fairy tale characters into the modern world. Rose Cinderella, an otherwise normal girl, discovers that she’s the granddaughter of Cinderella. After the series debuts in the U.S., Regal Academy will roll out on other platforms later this year. The series is created and produced by Rainbow in coproduction with Rai fiction, and it premiered in Italy last May on Rai YoYo.
