Blim, the recently launched pan-Latin American OTT platform run by Mexico’s Televisa, has acquired 18 TV dramas from RTVE. The deal will feature over 300 hours of RTVE’s original programming, which also includes movies, documentaries and children and family TV content. Highlights include historical seriesCarlos, King Emperor, produced by Endemol Shine Iberia’s Diagonal TV and The Department of Time, Onza Entertainment’s time-travel drama. Blim customers will be able to access Boomerang TV’s crime series Lost Misterios de Laura (adapted in the U.S. by Warner Bros. for NBC as The Mysteries of Laura), as well as Isabel, another Diagonal TV production for RTVE.
