FuboTV has gained 50,000 subscribers as of this month. This makes the multichannel video programming distributor the fastest-growing and one of the largest services of its kind. FuboTV provides access to a bundle of TV channels that hold U.S. rights to major worldwide sporting events, including live soccer matches from leading international soccer leagues and tournaments. FuboTV, which launched in January 2015, has increased its subscribers by 12-times—last March, the number of subscribers was just over 6,000. This news follows the company’s February announcement of a $15 million investment, led by Sky and 21st Century Fox and including DCM Ventures, Edgar Bronfman, Jr., former NBA commissioner David Stern, among others.
