The 25th edition of the MTV Movie Awards was held Saturday night at the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart who star together in Central Intelligence (due out this summer) co-hosted the taped broadcast, which aired last night at 8pm ET on MTV. The awards show was simulcast on BET, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, TV Land, VH1 and VH1 Classic. Will Smit was awarded this year’s MTV Generation Award. Melissa McCarthy, who stars in The Boss, was the first woman to receive the Comedic Genius Award.
