The heads of Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL), Punit Goenka and Amit Goenka, have been awarded the Médaille d’Honneur Award at MIPTV, which recognizes executives who have made remarkable contributions to the international television business. This is the first time any Indian broadcast executive has received the award. Amit Goenka, CEO, International Broadcast Business, ZEEL accepted the award from Paul Zilk, Reed MIDEM’s chief executive on behalf of both. This year’s fellow awardees are: Rola Bauer, managing director, STUDIOCANAL TV GmbH, Germany; Ben Pyne, president Global Distribution – Disney Media Networks, U.S., and Marcel Vinay Hill, president, Comarex, Mexico.
