PBS Nova, PBS’ flagship science documentary strand, and Lion Television, a part of all3media, have negotiated a deal that will see Lion Television develop and produce several archaeology-based documentaries for the PBS strand. The initial agreement covers three films, with more in the development pipeline. Titles include Building Secrets of the Forbidden City – a special access film about the restoration of Beijing’s Imperial Palace, produced with China’s CICC, and Secrets of the Chinese Chariots, which will test out some of the recently discovered oldest chariots in China. The films will be distributed by all3media International.
