Indie film distributor Gravitas Ventures has picked up the VOD and home video rights to Soren Sorensen’s My Father’s Vietnam. The film, which focuses on the filmmaker’s father, Peter Sorensen, and two men he served with who were killed in Vietnam in 1970, won the Soldiers and Sacrifice Grand Prize at the 2015 Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF). My Father’s Vietnam will be released on VOD platforms on May 24. A DVD release is slated to follow this summer. Glen Reynolds and Alex Nohe of Circus Road Films with Gravitas Ventures’ Acquisitions Manager Michael Lange negotiated the licensing agreement.
