Independent distributor Hat Trick International has shipped true crime content to multiple global broadcasters, the company announced today. Plum Pictures’ recent two-part series for ITV, The Mafia with Trevor McDonald, has been acquired around the world. The mob series, which features testimony from “connected” men, airs with Medialaan (Belgium), Nine Network (Australia), FTV Prima (Czech Republic), TV2 Danmark (Denmark), Planete+ CI (France), AMC Networks (Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia), 365 Media (Iceland), UTV (Ireland), RTL (Netherlands) and TV2 (Norway). Medialaan, TV2 (Denmark and Norway), UTV (Ireland), Prime (New Zealand) have signed Rookie Cops, which allows laypeople to live as policemen for three months.
