A+E Networks U.K. has named Luke Duffy vp, Ad Sales (pictured). Duffy will manage A+E’s portfolio of channel brands (HISTORY, Lifetime, Crime + Investigation and H2) in the U.K. and international markets. In his new role, Duffy will lead the London-based sales team, with an eye towards spot, non-spot and digital revenues across its commercial channels in the U.K., Benelux, Romania, Poland and Africa. Duffy, who joins the company March 14, has worked as head of Trading at Channel 5.
Univision News has promoted Daniel Coronell to president of News. He will continue to be based in Miami and report to Isaac Lee, Chief News and Digital Officer for Univision Communications Inc., and CEO of FUSION. Coronell first joined the Univision News team in 2011 as vice president and news director. In 2014, he was picked for his current position as executive vice president and executive director of News. Under his leadership, Univision News has been recognized with awards for excellence in journalism, including the duPont Award, the Peabody Award, the Walter Cronkite Award, and two King of Spain International Journalism Awards, among others.
