U.K.-based independent distributor Hat Trick International has landed new deals for Keo Films’ three-part documentary Hugh’s War on Waste. In Hugh’s War on Waste, TV presenter and environmental campaigner Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall investigates how much waste the world produces. He uncovers what happens to recycling after it’s collected from bins; challenges the supermarkets to reduce the amount of discarded food; and reveals some shocking truths about the wasteful fashion industry. Broadcasters picking up the series, which aired in the UK on BBC One, include Foxtel (Australia), DR Byen (Denmark), TVB (Hong Kong), AMC Networks (Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia), 365 Media (Iceland), Planete+ and Kuchnia+ (Poland) and Choice TV (New Zealand).
