Entertainment One (eOne) and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment (Fox) will join forces on a long-term basis through a multi-territory home entertainment partnership. The companies also will launch a new home entertainment joint venture in Canada that will handle their combined direct account home entertainment business (upcoming releases include The Hateful Eight, The Peanuts Movie, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chi. As part of the deal, Fox will manage sales and distribution services on DVD and Blu-ray on behalf of eOne for film, television and family home entertainment titles in the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain and Australia. Fox will also take on the marketing and sales efforts for eOne-marquee preschool brand Peppa Pig exclusively in the US market for physical home entertainment.
