The third season of Star China’s format Sing My Song debuted CCTV 3 on January 29 in China, at 7:30 pm. Sing My Song is a studio-based music contest. Musicians perform in front of a panel of four accomplished singer-songwriters who offer expertise as producer-judges, providing feedback and guidance to the contestants. The judges are also scouting for songs to be part of their own original music album. The series first aired on China’s national TV channel CCTV-3 in 2014, reaching 480 million viewers over the series. This season’s judges consist of returning judges Liu Huan and Yu Quan and new judges Mavis Fan and David Tao.
