HispanoPost, an alternative new editorial and multimedia online platform, will launch this week. The platform incorporates investigative and citizen journalism that highlights topics targeted for a Spanish-language audience, including breaking news and long-form investigative documentaries and features on drug trafficking, political corruption and immigration issues. Although Miami-based, the platform includes correspondents within the U.S., Latin America, Spain and Middle East. The digital platform will focus on video projects, with the goal of the producing monthly news documentaries. For this purpose, the streaming format, the use of drones and the investigative and citizen journalism, will be the main resources that can be found in the mobile application.
