The fourth season of History’s drama series Vikings will return on February 18, with the first 10 episodes airing consecutively, and the second half of the season scheduled later in the year. The network has added four episodes to its initial 16-episode order. Michael Hirst (The Tudors) is the creator and writer of the series, which tells the intricate family struggles of the lives and adventures of the raiders of the Dark Ages. The season returns in the wake of a battle in Paris, as the family strategizes to take over the throne. Vikings is a co-production by World 2000 and Take 5 Productions.
