Fox has renewed psychological thriller “Wayward Pines“ for a second season, announced David Madden, Fox Broadcasting Company’s president of Entertainment. The second season of M. Night Shyamalan’s suspenseful drama will air in summer 2016. Season two will pick up with a new arrival in Wayward Pines, who finds the residents fighting over how to preserve the endangered human species. The first season was the top broadcast scripted series for the 18-49 set this summer.
