Steven Soderbergh’s anthology series for Starz, The Girlfriend Experience, will make its world premiere in the special events category at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. The series follows Christine Reade, a law student and intern who encounters the world of women who provide emotional and sexual relationships at a high price. Caught in between two worlds, Christine becomes entangled in betrayal and intrigue. Lodge Kerrigan and Amy Seimetz, co-creators of The Girlfriend Experience, wrote and directed all 13 episodes.
