Lionsgate TV and Allison Shearmur Productions will adapt the 1987 drama that stars Jennifer Grey as Baby, who falls for a dance instructor, played by Patrick Swayze, at a Catskills resort in the 60s. Abigail Breslin will take the role of Baby. Eleanor Bergstein, who wrote the original screenplay, is executive producer, along with Allison Shearmur of The Hunger Games franchise. Dirty Dancing will air on ABC.
