Succession and Oppenheimer won the major TV and film awards at the 81st Golden Globes awards ceremony, held last night at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.
The Universal’s biopic took Best Motion Picture, Drama, Best Director for Christopher Nolan, Best Actor, Drama for Cillian Murphy, and Best Supporting Actor, Drama for Robert Downey Jr.
HBO’s Succession, following its fourth and final season, won Best TV Drama, Best Actor, TV Drama for Kieran Culkin, Best Supporting Actor, TV Drama for Matthew Macfadyen, and Best Actress in a TV Drama for Sarah Snook.
