French independent animation studio Millimages has signed with Netflix worldwide to broadcast seasons 2, 3 and 4 of its hit series, Molang, co-produced by Canal+. The first season of the non-verbal series was available since 2019 on the platform, and seasons 2, 3 and 4 will begin airing on November 1.
Over the past few years, Molang’s audience has grown, from a series built for pre-schoolers, to captivate 16-to-24 year-old viewers, with an increase of 4 million cross-platform followers in just 3 years. The series follows the adventures of seven-year-old Camille and her talking cat Imhotep, they live in an eco-city constructed in total harmony with nature, where everything is recycled.
