Newen Studios, a subsidiary of the TF1 Group, has acquired Scandinavian drama production company Anagram. Founded in 2002, Anagram is headed by chairman and CEO Mats Alders, and includes Anagram Sweden, Anagram Norway and Anagram Live. Alders will remain in his leadership post.
Newen had already been collaborating with Anagram for production and distribution projects, such as dramedy Between Us, a co-production between Nimbus, Newen Studios’ Danish entity, and Anagram Norway. Anagram’s thriller Ammo, a series soon to be launched on TV2 Norway, is also part of Newen Connect’s current program line-up.
