Rob Wade has been appointed chief executive officer of FOX Entertainment, following the exit of Charlie Collier. Wade most recently served as president, Alternative Entertainment and Specials of FOX Entertainment. During his tenure at FOX, the network has launched several hit unscripted series, including The Masked Singer, Crime Scene KitchenLEGO Masters and Next Level Chef.

In other FOX Entertainment news, in advance of its 2023 series premiere, the company has renewed its new animated comedy Krapopolis for a second season. From creator and executive producer Dan Harmon (co-creator of Rick and Morty), Krapopolis marks FOX Entertainment’s first wholly owned animated series, and is produced by FOX’s Bento Box Entertainment.

The series is set in mythical ancient Greece and tells the story of a dysfunctional family of humans, gods and monsters that try their hand at running the world’s first cities – without trying to kill each other, that is. The series features the voices of Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd), Matt Berry (What We Do in The Shadows), Pam Murphy.

The company’s recently formed content sales unit, FOX Entertainment Global, will introduce the animated comedy series to international buyers at MIPCOM CANNES later this month.
