Cheryl Dolins (pictured) has been named senior vice president, Comedy Programming and Development, of FOX Entertainment.  Based in Los Angeles and reporting to Michael Thorn, president of Entertainment, Dolins will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of the company’s comedy slate, which includes the upcoming single-camera comedy Animal Control, FOX Entertainment’s first wholly-owned live-action comedy; Welcome to Flatch, from executive producers Jenny Bicks and Paul Feig; and multi-camera comedy Call Me Kat, starring and executive produced by Mayim Bialik. Dolins replaces Julia Franz, who will remain as a consultant.

Entertainment and lifestyle marketing agency Allied Global Marketing has tapped Melanie Wills to be vice president, U.K./European Partnership Marketing. Based in London and reporting to Erin Corbett, senior vice president, Global Partnership Marketing, Wills will build the London-based Partnership Marketing team, which will offer services such as in-kind and licensed promotions, sponsorships, product placement, and brand ambassadors/talent acquisition from both a global and local market perspective. In addition to Allied’s Partnership Marketing footprint in London, the agency plans to continue to expand localized teams in Allied’s current offices in Sydney (APAC), Miami (LATAM) and more in the months to come.
