Indigo Film in collaboration with All3Media International announced the broadcast partners that have signed on for The Gymnasts.
Based on Ilaria Bernardini’s Corpo Libero, the six-part thriller revolves around a team of teenage athletes as they compete at an international tournament. As tensions escalate, the drama of adolescence clashes with the pressures of competitive training. The series will be directed by Cosima Spender and Valerio Bonelli.
The Gymnasts will premiere on Paramount+ in Italy and later across France, the U.K., Canada, Australia, Latin America, and South Korea.
In Italy, Rai Fiction is partner on The Gymnasts, and in Germany, the series will be presented as a neoriginal, with a launch on ZDFneo in 2023. Network Movie also co-produced the series.
In addition, All3Media International has an associate credit on the series.
