FilmRise struck a deal with Night Media to package and distribute content from YouTube native creators for broadcast and global streaming services.

Night Media represents digital native creators across genres, from comedy and lifestyle to philanthropy and gaming. As part of the agreement, FilmRise will distribute packaged content from MrBeast, Preston & Brianna, Dallmyd, Matt Stone, Unspeakable, Guga Foods, and Azzyland.  In spring 2021, the New York-based company will release packaged seasons of MrBeast and Preston & Brianna.

Max Einhorn, senior vice president of Acquisitions and Co-Productions at FilmRise, said, “The opportunity to leverage FilmRise’s vast global streaming network and Night Media’s most popular YouTube creator brands to streaming audiences is very exciting to us and we believe there will be huge cross-over success.”

FilmRise also picked up the exclusive North American distribution rights to the coming-of-age comedy Drunk Bus. Directed by John Carlucci and Brandon LaGanke, the feature film tells the story of a friendship between a young directionless campus bus driver and a punk-rock Samoan security guard as they usher drunk college students from one party to the next.
