Tribes Media, the Dutch media start-up, rolled out three new streaming services showcasing niche content.

Myst covers mystery, horror, and sci-fi in one place. Glitch emphasizes animated storytelling, and Selego is a platform for independent minds. These curated platforms feature movies, series, shorts, podcasts, and audiobooks.

All three launched today in 40 countries throughout Latin America and Europe. Tribes Media scored distribution agreements with over 50 international companies. The company is looking to increase its programming offering on each platform and expand into new territories.

Roberto Soto, founder of Tribes Media, commented, “After researching the market and interviewing the fans, we realized that niche audiences have a frustrating experience. The content is often hard to find, is not curated, not contextualized, and the fans need to pay different platforms to get different formats. To solve this, the core elements of our value proposition are curation and multiformat. There is so much content out there like films, series, audiobooks and Podcasts, therefore there is a huge value on having someone that loves the same niche as you picking just the best content for you to watch or listen, saving you all the time, money and effort of using different platforms.”
