Turkish distributor MISTCO unveiled its brand-new drama, An Anatolian Tale.
Produced by Köprü Film for TRT1, An Anatolian Tale tells the story of a young inventor who lives in a small town in the middle of Anatolia. Berk Atan stars as Taner, the young inventor, who has a dream of building an airplane with his cousins. He soon learns that a geologist visiting the region is his childhood sweetheart, Dilek, who Taner never forgot.
Aysegül Tüzün, managing director of MISTCO, remarked, “An Anatolian Tale is a drama that dominates Saturday evenings. In general, TRT has had great success for its brand new titles launched this year, and An Anatolian Tale has leadership quality like The Innocents and The Great Seljuks: Guardians of Justice.”
She added, “I believe that the success behind An Anatolian Tale is its inspiring, naïve, and promising story. We’re all passing through very hard times and the series encourages us to believe that there is always hope.”
