Nippon TV was awarded the Annual Individual Ratings Triple Crown Title for 2020.
The Japanese multi-platform entertainment company ranked as the individual ratings champion in the All Day, Prime Time, and Golden Times categories. The new system now measures individual ratings instead of household ratings, as in previous years. Nippon TV has earned this title for the tenth consecutive year.
Yoshinobu Kosugi (pictured), representative director, president, and executive operating officer, stated, “I thank all our supporters who helped us win the 2020 Annual Individual Ratings Triple Crown Title. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the loyal viewers who supported our programs, as well as our sponsors and partners who enabled our production.”
He added, “In 2021, we hope for your continued support as Nippon TV rises to the challenge of offering more high-quality content across multiple platforms that include our linear, BS (broadcasting satellite), and CS (communications satellite) channels, as well as Hulu in Japan, TVer, and our other digital streaming services.”
