Konami Cross Media NY closed new licensing agreements for the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand throughout EMEA and global markets.
France’s Abysse licensed the anime franchise for other categories in the ABYstyle range. Abysse also serves as Konami’s distribution partner for the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game in France. Abysse will launch a new merchandise line of popular fan collectibles in France.
U.K.-based Pyramid International signed to make Yu-Gi-Oh! licensed products such as wall art, drinkware, doormats, stationery and decorative accessories. Germany’s butterfly-effected will present Yu-Gi-Oh! digitally licensed accessories, from digital themes and wallpapers to icon packs and stickers, for download on mobile devices worldwide, excluding Asia. The French publishing house Editions Larousse will publish the Yu-Gi-Oh! Guidebook for France (pictured).
The new consumer products are aiming to reach retail starting in the fourth quarter of 2020 and throughout 2021.
