HBO Nordic greenlit the original Norwegian series Beforeigners.
Created by Anne Bjørnstad and Eilif Skodvin, the satirical science-fiction series is the second original HBO Nordic production, following the Swedish comedy series Gösta. Produced by Rubicon TV, Beforeigners takes place in a time when a temporal phenomenon allows people from past time periods – The Stone Age, the Viking era, and the late 19th century – to enter the present. The series follows one man from the Viking Age and a police officer who team up to investigate a murder.
Beforeigners will debut exclusively on HBO Nordic and across HBO Europe territories, and will be available in the U.S. on HBO Go and Now.
