The Luxor African Film Festival (LAFF) has officially launched the call of receiving films for its sixth edition. The festival will take place March 16-22, 2017. Submissions for films by African filmmakers, or produced in African countries, are open until December 15, 2016. This year, Morocco will be the country of honor, and there will be special tributes to Mauritanian director Abderrahmane Sissako, Egyptian director Youssry Nasrallah and Egyptian star Nelly Karim.
