Chinese production company Legend Media has picked up Armoza Formats’ new factual entertainment show, Marry Me Now. The two parties have previously partnered on The Green Project, the sketch comedy show that aired on Hunan TV and became the channel’s number one show in the time slot. Marry Me Now has already been taken in eight countries to date. The factual format was most recently acquired in South Africa and Belgium, with other key territories including France, Italy and Germany. The series follows women in long-term relationships who plan their own weddings without their partners knowing. On the third day of prep, the hopeful bride surprises her boyfriend with her wedding dress, and either ends the relationship or gets married on the spot.
