This year’s Monte-Carlo Television Festival will open on June 12th with first episode of Dick Wolf’s drama series Chicago Med, Laurent Puons, CEO of the Festival, announced today. Chicago Med, the third installment of the Chicago brand from executive producer Dick Wolf (Law & Order), is a high-stakes look at the day to day chaos of the city’s newest trauma center and the lives of the courageous doctors, nurses and staff who hold it all together. Stars of the series including Oliver Platt (The Big C), S. Epatha Merkerson (Law & Order), Torrey DeVitto (The Vampire Diaries), Colin Donnell (The Affair) and Brian Tee (Jurassic World) will attend the screening, as part of the Festival’s Red Carpet Opening Ceremony, attended by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco.
