SPI International/Filmbox International is continuing its African expansion by launching eight FilmBox brand channels and FilmBox Live on demand service with Digitune Media Technologies. FilmBox Africa, FilmBox Art House, FightBox, DocuBox, Fast&FunBox, FashionBox and 360TuneBox will be available on Digitune’s OTT/IPTV service in Nigeria. With the launch of the FilmBox brand channels, Digitune Media customers have access to SPI’s recently acquired BBC dramas The Musketeers and Doctor Who. FilmBox Art House, which received the EUTELSAT TV Award in the Best Cinema category, presents world cinema masterpieces by Kurosawa, Fellini or Hitchock in addition to festival movies and independent productions.
