Brown Bag Films has moved to a new 30,000 square foot animation studio in Smithfield, Dublin. The 9 Story Media Group subsidiary, founded in 1994, now employs nearly 200 creative and production staff at its Dublin headquarters, in addition to a Manchester studio and Los Angeles office. Brown Bag is known for producing animated children’s series Octonauts, Doc McStuffings, and Bing and Henry Hugglemonster. Brown Bag is currently producing the CG adaptation of Richard Adams’ novel Watership Down for Netflix and BBC. 9 Story acquired Brown Bag Films last year.
