Janice Strangward (pictured) has been named as head of European Sales Syndication at Zee Entertainment, and will be based out of London. In her new role, Strangward will be in charge of the company’s European growth and co-production strategy, and will help adapt Zee’s local formats for a European market. Strangward previously held senior executive roles at Discovery Networks Europe, Passion Distribution, eOne and Al Jazeera Media Network.
Pamela Wolfe has been hired as executive vice president of Human Resources at Starz. Working out of the company’s Beverly Hills headquarters, she will assume responsibilities for all human resources functions for nearly 800 employees across the Starz businesses. Wolfe has nearly two decades of experience of people management within the entertainment, media, sports and advertising industries. Wolfe most recently recently served as Chief People Officer for Eleventh Hour Entertainment, a boutique specialty entertainment and creative staffing firm.
