CBS has released details for a spinoff of The Good Wife, set to air in the spring of 2017. The series will pick up one year after the events of The Good Wife’s final episode. Christine Baranski (pictured) will return to her role as the Diane Lockhart, and recent addition Cush Jumbo will reprise attorney Lucca Quinn. The series will be available exclusively in the U.S. on CBS All Access, the network’s $5.99 a month digital subscription video on demand and live streaming service, making it the second original series developed for the service, following Star Trek. Robert and Michelle King, creators and executive producers of The Good Wife, will co-create and executive produce the spinoff with Phil Alden Robinson, as well as Ridley Scott, David Zucker, Liz Glotzer and Brooke Kennedy also serving as executive producers.
