SPI’s Kino Polska released its first quarter 2016 results. The total income exceeded PLN5 million, ($1.2 million USD), representing a 10% increase compared to the first three months of 2015. The company’s first quarter 2016 sales revenues grew 5% in comparison to those from last year. Kino Polska attributes this rise to a 14% increase in the FilmBox channels’ sales results and growing ad revenue generated by the Kino Polska brand channels. In March, the company the company reported a 60% growth in audience share for the FilmBox movie channel. The group is currently preparing a new DTT channel named Zoom TV, in partnership with the Polish Foundation for the Development of Electronic Communication and Onet.pl.
