Keshet International (KI) has licensed its game show format Boom! to SBT, Brazil’s second largest television network. The series, originally created by Keshet, Ido Rosenblum and July August Productions, is a trivia challenge that melds the genres of action movie and a video game. Boom launch this summer on Sunday evenings during primetime, as part of SBT’s hit variety show Programa Silvio Santos. BOOM! has become one of Keshet International’s most successful formats, with over 800 episodes of the series commissioned worldwide. Boom! has aired in Spain (Antena 3), the U.S. (FOX), France (TF1), Hungary (TV2), Kazakhstan (Channel SEVEN), Chile (TVN), Argentina (Telefe) and Uruguay (Canal 10, finished Spanish version). It recently began airing in Cambodia (Bayon TV). Peruvian (America TV), Mexican (Azteca TV) and Colombian (Caracol) versions are also in the pipeline.
