The finale of Keshet International‘s high-end drama series The A Word aired on BBC One on Tuesday night at 9pm. The six-part series focuses on the difficulties of dealing with autism and complicated family dynamics. The A Word is co-produced by Fifty Fathoms and Keshet UK, and the finale attracted an audience of 4.4 million viewers and a consolidated audience of 5.5 million, taking 22% audience share. The A Word is written by Peter Bowker (Marvellous, Blackpool) and directed by Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty, Rev).  Sundance TV will air the series this summer.
