Hanne Palmquist has been appointed to the newly created position of commissioning editor and vp, Original Programming, at HBO Nordic. She was previously commissioning editor for Feature Films at the Danish Film Institute where she was responsible for script development and production of new feature film projects.
Palmquist has extensive industry experience across Scandinavia, having held senior positions at SVT in Stockholm, Sweden, as well as CEO of the Oslo-based Nordisk Film & TV Fond from 2007 to 2013. She joins HBO Nordic on August 1st and will report to Antony Root, evp of Original Programming and Production, HBO Europe.
