Laura Poitras’ new feature film Risk will make its world debut at the Cannes Film Festival’s 48th Directors’ Fortnight (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs), announced First Look Media today.  The documentary, a follow-up to the highly acclaimed Citizenfour, reveals the stakes and opportunities of whistle blowing and finds Poitras embedded with Julian Assange. Risk is produced by Praxis Films in association with First Look Media and Field of Vision.  Josh Braun of Submarine will handle world sales.
