NAB president and CEO Gordon Smith opened this year’s show in Las Vegas this morning. Today’s opening session included Smith’s remarks, the presentation of NAB’s Distinguished Service Award to ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff and Ben Sherwood’s keynote speech. Sherwood is co-chairman at Disney Media Networks and president, Disney/ABC Television Group. The show takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 16-21.
