Fox has renewed comedy series for a sixth season. The fifth season of the series aired last night, at 8 pm ET/PT, and opened with Jess (Zooey Deschanel) getting served with a restraining order by her former boyfriend, Sam (guest star David Walton). This season will see Megan Fox as a guest star, with Damon Wayans, Jr., Nasim Pedrad and Sonequa Martin-Green returning to their roles. New Girl is produced by 20th Century Fox Television, and created by Elizabeth Meriwether.
