International sales executive Charlotte Thorp has been named Lionsgate U.K. senior vice president and head of Television Sales for the European market, the company announced today. Thorp will be based at Lionsgate U.K.’s London headquarters. In her new role, she will be in charge of Lionsgate’s licensing of films and television programming to broadcast, cable and digital platforms throughout the U.K. and across Europe. Before joining Lionsgate, Thorp served as svp, head of Film & TV Sales for eOne Film U.K. and eOne Television International, where she led an integrated team selling film and television content across two key divisions.
