Arts and entertainment channel Canal 22 has released its themed programming for this year’s Holy Week. From March 21-25, viewers will be able to experience Holy Week with Canal 22 Internacional, which brings Mexican history and culture to American audiences. In the United States, the Catholic Church has approximately 63 million followers that celebrate Holy Week each year. For the celebration of Easter, Canal 22 Internacional will present themed programs including Peregrinos de San Juan, which documents religious pilgrims, Mexico Vivo, which reflects the pre-Hispanic and Catholic beliefs Mexico’s southern states, as well as several religious films.
